Dendrobium chrysanthum

Around late August and through September, this beautiful Orchid brightens up the scenery in the  otherwise lush, verdant green monsoon splashed hills. It is relatively cool growing and in the higher elevations, the plants come into bloom later. In autumn, the leaves fall off and the plants goes through a dormant winter rest period.
