An evergreen plant with long strap shaped leaves borne on a rosette from stout rhizome.
Inflorescence produced in late summer. The flowers are fleshy and last for some time in full bloom. Cool growing it likes moisture on its roots throughout the year.
Habitat: Eastern Himalayas.
