lily species that has been in cultivation throughout the world for a very
long time. It still retains its popularity.
The variety with double flowers is also a strong grower and is used extensively as a cut flower locally with good keeping qualities. Both flower in summer and produce many flowers to a plant.
The bulbs are dormant in
winter.
