Lilium longiflorum Dwarf variety
Popular worldwide as the Easter Lily.
This species is a native of Japan and grown worldwide
for a long time for its long lasting white flowers. The flowers are produced
in April coinciding with Easter celebrations.
Plants can grow up to 5ft tall and the large trumpet
shaped white flowers are very fragrant.
A dwarf form that grows to about 2ft tall and flowers as vigorously but with slightly smaller flowers is also under cultivation with us and this proves excellent for growing in pots.
