Arisaema galeatum This one is in shades of green all through. The tubers are quite large, up to 6 inches across. Flowering is in spring. A stout peduncle holds a large three segmented leaf. The flowers of Arisaema galeatum are borne on short peduncles about 8 inches tall. The flowers are green with white stripes. Grows throughout the summer monsoon months and the leaves start withering in late summer. Tubers stay dormant throughout winter. Habitat: Darjeeling and Sikkim Himalayas through the Himalayan range through Bhutan and further into Northeast India. Ethnobotany:
